A deck doesn’t have to be just boards in the sun. A pergola, a deck cover, or the space under an elevated deck can change how you use your backyard in Ada.
Planning shade with your deck
When J&M Group plans outdoor living space, we look at more than the deck boards:
- Where you want sun, where you want shade, and where you want shelter.
- How the outdoor areas connect to each other.
- Which features belong in this phase of the project and which can wait.
An example from our work
One J&M project uses a timber pergola to define the seating area, with a lower deck and broad steps connecting it to the yard.
What homeowners say
"We received great service. The workers were skilled and added special touches. Everyone that sees our deck/pergola love it." (Robin G., customer review)
Tell us how you want to use the space, and we’ll help you decide whether a pergola, a cover, or open deck fits best.
